Leads are being identified from commercially available libraries or through collaborations. Affectis then applies its proprietary in-vitro assays and animal models for the validation of its leads according to defined behavioural criteria. Moreover, these models can be combined with a special high-throughput device allowing parallel assessment of multiple behavioural parameters within a single assay that lasts five to ten minutes.
