Dr Luc St-Onge, VP
Patenting & Licensing Dr St-Onge has strong credentials in the biotech industry and scientific community. He obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada where he worked in the field of cancer. He received the Gold Medal Award for scholastic achievements from the Governor General of Canada for his studies. He subsequently moved to Germany and was a research scientist in the laboratory of Professor Peter Gruss at the Max-Planck Institute of Biophysical Chemistry. During this time, he studied the molecular and genetic mechanisms regulating pancreas development. He joined DeveloGen AG upon its foundation where he was director of the diabetes program. Throughout his career, he has published in top ranking journals and was granted several patents related to stem cells and novel therapeutic strategies against diabetes. During his research career, Luc St-Onge received funding from the European Molecular Biology Organisation, the National Cancer Institute of Canada, the Max-Planck Society, the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) and the European Union. back to Team |
