Prof. Hanns Möhler, Chairman

Prof. Möhler is Director of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and is one of the most distinguished scientists in the field of neuropharmacology. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and was Vice-Director of Science at Hoffmann-La Roche. Prof. Möhler contributes valuable advice to Affectis in the field of genetic control of behaviour and the mechanisms regulating emotions, cognition and memory.

Prof. Florian Holsboer, founder

Prof. Holsboer is Director of the Max-Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich. As founder of Affectis, he brings precious counsel regarding the clinical aspects of depression and will play a vital role in designing the clinical trials.

Prof. Nick Barden, co-founder

Prof. Barden is Director of the Neuroscience Research Unit at the University of Laval in Quebec, Canada. He has been investigating various populations of bipolar and depressed patients for more than 18 years. He not only contributes new targets to Affectis, but also advises the company in the field of human genetics and population studies.
